Community Outreach Events Manager
This position provides strategic leadership to the volunteer affiliates to set overall fundraising strategy. Key responsibilities include partnering with Corporate Relations to uncover leads within the region for national cause marketing and corporate sponsorship opportunities, establishing quantitative and quantifiable metrics to determine ROI of events, working with management to create new tools and training for key volunteers and their committees and ensuring alignment of programs with brand and strategic goals.
4 Year college degree in Business, Communications or related field or equivalent experience required plus a minimum four years directly related experience in fundraising, volunteer management and corporate sponsorship. Qualified candidates must possess demonstrable success in leading and managing teams, excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with volunteers, donors and staff. Must be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and have proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems (Raiser’s Edge preferred). Must be willing to travel, including weekends and evenings.
